There is a huge bathtub which you can see the sea from & a lovely dressing area & table. Upstairs is a huge bed surrounded by mosquito nets, a little balcony overlooking the ocean which is great for a morning coffee & watching the sunrise. Our room rate included a daily refill of 4 bottles of beer & a top up of the small bottles of gin & rum. The ground floor has a wonderful plunge pool, dining table, sun loungers, bar & toilet. The Villa's themselves are stunning, built over 2 floors & connected with a spiral staircase.
#Koh yao noi treehouse villas upgrade
We were able to upgrade our stay for a few nights & stay there which was wonderful. We actually booked to stay 10 nights at The Paradise without realising it was adjoined to The Treehouse Villas which I have always wanted to stay at. The Treehouse Villas are the sister property to The Paradise Koh Yao & are simply incredible. Happy to answer questions whilst the visit is fresh in my mind. A few minor on-site activities, canoes to hire and local trips if you want them.
So, overall, no complaints, as you cannot blame the resort for the "iffy" weather we experienced! If you want a short break to relax then this is the ideal place. Breakfast with plenty of choice was included in our stay and, on my wife's birthday, we had individual dining on the beach, which was very well presented and with excellent ambience. The GM was present during our stay and appeared actively involved in overseeing the resort and maintaining standards. All that said, this is not a large resort, but the accommodation is well spread out, clean and well maintained. Three restaurants on site to choose from and a couple of bars with happy hours. Down to personal choice, as the facilities in both are excellent. Last time we were in a 2 storey Treehouse. We stayed at a beach bungalow (106) in a quiet area of the beach, probably 20 metres from the sea, but with a small pool included. This is quite an exclusive resort, split into two hotels sharing many of the same facilities. Particular mention to CD, who greeted us on arrival, arranged our check-in and accompanied us to our bungalow. I cannot fault the service and attention we received throughout the experience, from boarding the boat in Phuket to returning to the same location. Just returned from our second visit to the resort this year, on this occasion to celebrate my wife's big birthday.
